Yes. Truely's unlimited plans deliver full LTE or 5G speed for the entire plan duration with no throttling thresholds. Unlike some competitors who reduce speeds after 1GB or 5GB, Truely routes traffic through local carrier agreements that include genuine high-speed data allowances. The only exception is regions where the local carrier caps all international roaming at a specific speed — this is disclosed in the plan details before purchase.

Yes. If your trip extends or your needs change, you can upgrade to a longer plan from inside the app. The additional days are added to your existing eSIM profile — you do not need to reinstall the eSIM or request a new QR code. Downgrades are handled at renewal; you cannot reduce the current active plan duration.

eSIM profiles are stored in the device's eUICC chip. A factory reset wipes the profile. If this happens, contact Truely support via email or the web portal and request a profile reissue. Reissues are processed within 30 minutes for active plans. GSMA rules allow one reissue per plan per device. If you are switching to a new device, the same policy applies.

Truely processes payments through Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. Card numbers are never stored on Truely's servers — only a tokenized reference is kept for renewal billing. All checkout traffic is encrypted with TLS 1.3. Truely does not share payment data with carrier partners; only anonymized eSIM activation events are reported to carriers for billing reconciliation.

The QR code is delivered within 2 minutes of payment confirmation. Installation on your device takes 60–90 seconds. The eSIM activates automatically when your device registers on a local carrier in the destination country. If you are testing before departure, the eSIM will show as installed but data will not activate until you arrive in a covered country.
